Have you ever wondered what lies beyond something that you either are not allowed to pass or just don’t have the time to deal with it? In this original prompt I thought it would be interesting to go down that route. I leave it up to you to decide what is behind the door and why it’s not allowed, but let’s look at some possibilities.
The age or maturity of the speakers is going to affect this some. A child might look at the employees only door and not realize what’s actually behind the door if they are young enough, especially if they are too young to have a job. Of course a very young child is not going to talk this way, but if they are upper elementary age to early high school they might.
An adult, on the other hand, might be looking at something you need security clearance for and wonder what is behind there. I’m sure plenty of people have wondered about things such as the infamous Area 51, wanting to know what the government is hiding.
I gave no indication of the relationship of the two other than the fact that they are close enough to talk about this sort of thing and that they different on if it’s a good idea to do things you are not allowed to do.
